- l have been very blessed to have an amazing family...l have produced thousands of illustrations for every company you can think of...but at the end of the day l am most proud to be a father to my little girls. in my pro life l have worked for them all, Lucasfilm, lucas arts, Hasbro, Mattel, Dc comics, Marvel comics, Fox sports..etc..l have done a ton ....and l still got some juice..watch out....Emmy nominated( wow that sounds crazy..) l am currently drawing comics at Marvel , as well as developing my IP with Transgaming Entertainment, as well as tons of design for Mattel , Hasbro and others on some top secret stuff.

These BP pictures are awesome. What I want to know is how do you shade so well and yet keep your art so clean? I can do clean lines, but once the shading comes in, it's no longer clean.
Also, what type of lead do you use for making different levels of darkness? like from light to dark?
Maybe a 4h, HB, 3b?
